I'm getting ready to have the timing belt done on my wife's '04 Pacifica, and thought I would do the struts at the same time. They are the original struts (107,000 miles and counting), and the tires that just came off the car showed signs of cupping and irregular wear.

I did a quick search on Advance Auto Parts site, figuring I would just get an OEM replacement-type strut. Wow, was I SHOCKED at the price!

Tell me there are cheaper alternatives out there! Is anyone ordering from Rock Auto for their struts? They have strut/coil combos that are $160 each, which seems downright reasonable at this point!

I just did.....they are out of stock, but I plan on calling them tomorrow. Thanks for the link -- that's the first I've heard of that website.

Am I understanding this correctly that the Pacifica has rear shocks instead of struts?
