2005 Chrysler Pacifica P0132
Hey All. New to the site bought a used Pacifica 3.5L with check engine light on. P0132 and P0135, so I changed B1S1 with NTK O2 sensor as was recommended by other owners. The light is back on with the same code. I will say there is an exhaust leak at the flex before the sensor and I am thinking this may be the culprit . Anybody run into this previously? I would really appreciate anyone’s thoughts |
Yes, any exhaust leak(s) between O2 sensors will make reading go awry and set code(s). Also be aware that the cat. converters are known to "foul out" and set some other codes also. If you just recently bought your ride, PLEASE check your engine oil level regularly. they are known to consume oil heavily. Also being 13 years old, find out if the timing belt has been replaced, if not your run the risk of "lunching" the motor should the belt break as it's an interference design motor. Do the H2O pump too since the belt has to come off to do the pump.
