2005 pacifica lift gate not working with keyfob

The lift gate on my 2005 pacifica doesn't work with the key fob or the button near the rearview mirror, but does open manually. Fuse looks good and it appears the latch works, so I assume it's the motor. Anyone else have this issue or an easy fix?
