2006 Pacifica idle jumping hard Not running

Ok. So I went in to check for an oil drip. Tool plenum off and everything else (just like I'm going to do a valve cover gasket replacement). No leaks.

Put all back together. All plugs and sensors as well as hoses are back in place. Nothing is crossed up. All screws lined up. All hoses are in correct position and clamped (when necessary).

Went to start car all it does is rev up and down. Hitting gas does nothing. Checked MAP it's plugged in. All hoses are plugged in see no cracks. Code P0068 (duh) but can't seem to figure out why.

Double and triple checked everything. Unscrewed all 3 front plugs to look for oil but put all back in place. Did not cross any plugs they are in the right place.

Was checking for oil drip due to horrid smell inside cabin every 10 min or so after driving. Exhaust system has no leaks. Had cat muffler and resonator replaced anyway. So I was checking for a slow oil drip hitting something hot

Any ideas why car is doing this now? Did my map sensor go bad somehow during this? I don't have a voltmeter.

you created a vacuum leak egr gasket intake gasket something like that

I didn't go anywhere near the egr. I also didn't touch the intake gasket. All I did was take it off to look for an oil leak and put it back on.

Wait. When you say egr valve gasket do you mean the seal on the tube or the sensor?

On the tube there was no gasket which I thought was odd. But never had an issue. Is it possible it fell off into the manifold when I took the tube out?

`yeah there should be on that goes into the intake From the EGR tube. Put you hand around that area and see if you can feel air getting sucked in

Am I going to have to take the plenum off again or will the tube pull out with it seated?

There's def an air leak there.

if you can loosen teh 2 8mm bolts might be able to swing out the egr tube enough if not intake comes off.
