Default 2006 Pacifica & Sirius

I just traded in my 06 300 for an 06 Pacifica. Got bored with the 300. I had a subscription with sirius on the 300 and I need to change my account to the Pacifica. My Pacifica has the "external 6 CD/DVD" changer and what I assumeis aSirius equipped radio. When I step through the "mode" I can see all the modes ie: AM FM SAT, CD, EXT-CD... When I go to the sat mode I can see CH184 - WEATHERand if I hit a preset button I can see ch 4 - EZ, ch 10, - Bridgech 74 - Sinatra, etc... HOWEVER, when I manually try to change channel using the channel up/down button, I get nothing. I need to get to Channel 1 to read my sirrius radio number to re-register the Pacifica radio. Is this a defective unit or am I doing something wrong?

Doesn't sound like the functions are working properly. When I registered my account I got my SID number by pressing the CD eject button and the Time button simultaneously for a few seconds-with the key on accesory and the radio off(page 226 of manual). These instructions are for a RBP style stereo which is what is in my 06 Pacifica.I also popped open the compartment in the back to double check the number printed on the receiver-the plastic cover comes off pretty easy.Good Luck
