2006 Pacifica stuck in park "service immobilizer"
 

So , on a very sub freezing day my pacifica wold not come out of park.....it would start ok but there were lots of other things going on too.
led readout says "service immobilizer"
1. radio was dead
2. heater -a/c was dead
3.windshield wipers dead
4. lots of dash warning lites on.....Brake....
I had it towed and when they tried it ,it worked.....I drove it home and it started again.
I tried a different key
Can anyone shed some light on this.
I really don't want to spend alot of money on it asI was just getting ready to trade it in......
