2007 Pacifica Limited AWD All Bells and Whisles ...Yay or Nay?

Hi Pac Enthusiasts

I am very interested and about to purchase a 2007 Pac Limited AWD for about 11,000 from a dealer. It has all the options on the car and has about 77k miles.

The car fax is clean and it only had about 2 owners. I haven't driven a Pac yet but the deal seems great.

I need a car that could fit 4 adults and 2 toddlers confortably but don't want a minivan. I read that this car has its fair share of problems but what car doesn't

would you recommend this car?

AWD....heck no! RUN!

AWD with fully loaded option?
take TNtech's advice, RUN!!!

Find a SUV if you do not want a Minivan.
yes, every car has problems, but compared with a Fully loaded Pacifica with AWD? double those problems...

double trouble

LOL... well it sure make me feel better about my FWD 2006 Pac :D. I can only imagine if I was to have twice as many problems with my car.

But seriously I thought most of the AWD problems was with 2004 model.

If you're not too picky on gas mileage look at the Durango. 2004-2009 (HB) 4.7L. The newer the better. But then again, you may be able to find a cool minivan. You can tint the windows and get some sporty running boards to dress it up some. Let's face it, you have 2 kids. Your days of "being cool" are numbered...lol.

the problem is not JUST the AWD portion, it is the "Fully loaded" portion as well. all those bells and whistle will drop off on you one by one after 100k miles.

Uh, no...I would know because I have the 2004 (which is widely known to be one of the most unreliable model years) and my "bells and whistles" are still in perfect order. Except for one heated seat in the back which just blinks at me when I try to use it...but, I mean its got 117k miles on it. The previous owner wasn't exactly the best owner either...he abused the hell out of the thing but pretty much everything works like the NAV, speakers (perfect and an absolute dream), 3 of 4 heated seats, DVD changer, moonroof, power liftgate...it all works perfectly. It just depends on the condition, I guess.

Mine is also the AWD, BTW...

Now you might have jinxed it ;). But here is a news that I just came across; in 2011 a man falls from 39 story building in NYC and survives. Here is the link to the news:

Thomas Magill Falls 39 Stories From New York City Building, Lands on Car, Survives

Does it make it safe for everyone else to jump off from 39 story building, since that particular individual has survived the fall?

My uncle knows a person whose Ford Pinto did not go up in flame. I guess it means Pinto was not that bad of a model line.

Actually it depends upon statical probability. There were many Toyota owners whose brakes did not fail, and many millions of people which did not die during plague. It is just probability of occurrence of certain event.
