2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid - mileage/charging
 

I just got a 2019 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid and I am trying to figure out the amount of miles I can get on the electric engine.

I know the car has an estimated (up to) 40 miles on electric (depending on weather, how you drive, what is running in the car, etc).

I park the van in the garage overnight and charge it. In the morning, it always says 100% charged and estimates 36 miles on electric (never more than that, btw).

After I drop off my son at daycare 1/2 mile away, that estimate now says 30 miles and when I get to work 20 miles away, it says 10 miles remaining.

So...my question is does anyone ever get more than 36 miles in estimated electric engine driving?

Why is the first estimate after being fully charged off by 6 miles but accurate afterward?

Shouldn't I be getting more 30 miles on electric?

If so, is it an issue with the car or with how it is being charged? Maybe it isn't really 100% charged?

it looks like I am getting about 32 miles on a full charge and when I leave in the morning, the temp is about 59 degrees.
