2023 Pacifica AWD Limited / DTC Code P2AF8
 

Hello all,
I just purchased this vehicle and it is coming with some lights (engine), sometimes battery, and then A!. I tested the batteries and those seem to be good.
Today I found that there was a clip (wire) that wasn't fully connected to a relay maybe that was under the fuse box. That was put back in. I also purchased the auto start eliminator and installed it as I don't want it to be on all the time.

When you turn the car on then there is a clicking like a relay is clicking and then the Triangle comes on saying that the vehicle will shut down soon. It will not shut down and if I shut the car off and restart then it will go away.
I think the 1st step is to get rid of this code P2AF8. I have googled all over and can't find the solution for the code. I have the AllDATA print out for this code.

Anyone who has worked to solve this would be greatly appreciated. I am in the Military and in Germany so I don't have a warranty on the vehicle so I need to fix it myself.
