2025 Pacifica Select AWD warranty repair - power steering / AWD
Last month, the power steering failed and the service AWD light came up on our 2025 Pacifica Select AWD. The dealership ended up replacing both the steering rack and driveshaft under warranty, and we finally got it back after a month in the shop. They couldn’t pinpoint a cause—just chalked it up to bad luck.
The van only has about 8,100 km (5,000 miles) on it and has been driven for just 6 months. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Why would a failure like that happen so early on a nearly new vehicle? It doesn’t give us much confidence in keeping it long term. Should we consider trading it in now, or hang onto it and hope it’s not a lemon? Any thoughts are appreciated. |
