Default Dead Dash

Have a 04 PAC that recently bought. Have TPS issues and also fuel sending unit and gauge issues and have gotten alot of info here about those but that's not what I'm here about. Today while out shut car down and when I got back in and started it I had no dash, lighting or gauge operation. Also noticed headlights were on but no H/L beam control or blinkers. No interior lights either. This evening I started checking fuses and relays, and nothing looked promising until I pulled fuse #49 which is a 15A labeled as PCM,OHC,BCM,NAV,HFM. The fuse was not blown but when I reinstalled it everything was working again. I'm glad it's working but I'm concerned as to what happened and why. I'm guessing that something tripped and when I pulled the fuse the power interuption allowed the reset. Anyone have any ideas?
