Dealer Service
Brought my '07 Pacifica to the local Chrysler dealer for 15k service. This is not the dealer I purchased the car from but is is a small local operation and I have used before. The owners manual calls for an oil change and some misc. check items. When I tell the service writer I want an oil change, he presents me with a list of "dealer recommended" service for 15k. Other than an oilchange, tire rotation and cleaning the throttle body, the other items were check, check, and morecheck and all this for $399.99!!
When I qustioned their service recommendations vs. what the owners manual states, he told that is "bare minimum" service and not what should be done to the car. I paid for an oil change only and that was it. The next service interval is listed for $599.99. Looks like I will be looking for a new shop for service. |
