ESP BAS - C1073 Code
 

Hello , New member here.

Data:
2008 Pacifica
3.8 L - 2WD

Car sat parked for 8 months waiting for youngest son to obtain drivers permits.

When attempting to get car running needed to tow into garage.

Some repairs already made. New Battery and alternator.

Upon being able to start the car with a new battery, the dashboard lights up like a christmas tree.

Lights on:
ESP BAS
brake
traction control
ABS

Both rear hubs have been replaced within the last 25k miles.

Took to a garage friend for a scan and it comes up with c1073 code, which I understand is the ABS pump module.

Question: Before I go and pull out and replace the entire module, is there something more simple (cheaper) I should possibly check first?

watch the video , took the advice and began to trouble shoot (though almost impossible without diagrams)..

But at least I found one wire that needs addressed . Will fix this and report back.

Please keep any advice coming though!
