Default Front passanger seat belt

hi!

I have a Chrysler Pacifica 2006, until nowI was 3rd times to dealer with the same problem <front passanger seat belt>. when front passanger take's out his seat belt I don't have any alert (visual or audio). They chamge my seat belt , but I still have the problem, after that they told me, my car don't have this function, butI can understand why they put this diagnostic after they changing the sealt belt
Please if somebody have a Chrysler Pacifica Touring3,5L;FWD, let me know if you have the alert (audio or light ) when you runing and front passanger take's out his sealt belt.

Thank you

Sorin

Your not alone, fellow Pac Rat. There's just not many of us online all the time. Sometimes it takes a day or so to get a response.
I have a 2006 Pacifica Touring (3.5L/Fwd),and it definitely has passenger belt warning-audible and lamp.Pretty sure it comes up on the EVIC as well, but not 100%. Mine will go off after someone jumps out of the car for a minute too...that's kinda annoying. So, maybe it's not the belt, but the passenger seat sensor that's giving you trouble.I think the occupant sensor tells the car if an adult or child is present in the chair to determine airbag deployment.Check for TSBs on it, they may be barking up the wrong tree.

I too have an 06 Pacifica that had no warning on the passenger side until the dealer reprogramed the seatbelt software. Now it works. My problem is now I have a random "chime" with not indicator. Can't be replicated so the dealer thinks I am nuts. For no reason I can see, the chime goes off once at different times. Not always but I hear it at least once a month.
