GPS NAV Information
 

I am interested in finding out more on the GPS in the '05 Pacifica. Is it possible to get DVD updates and if so where. I was a little disapointed that the GPS in the 300 gave you fuel station icons, and the Pacifica does not. Also we live in an area that is just now being developed and would like to know when and how often we can get a DVD update.

Alpine does the updates for the GPS. Their phone number is 1-866-733-5492.

I can get the fuel station icons as well as restaurants, ATM's and others I can't remember.

One thing, my 2005's navigation is out of date by 5 years. After all the expense of having this great feature, I have to pay Alpine $150 plus shipping to get the updated disc. Too bad it isn't a Garmin where you can download updates free of charge.
