Question Halogen & Xenon HID

I have on 05' PAcifica with the stock Halogen lights. I'm looking into getting the Xenon headlights + assembly. Now does anyone know if it is a straight up swap between assemblies or cutting and re-wiring needed??? I know 04's have these headlights but everywhere I look, its for 2004 only and they apparently don't fit 05's. I've seen some 05's with them but more scarce. So need a little hand to find some and need a place to ships to Canada if from the US.

Have a 04.....stay with the halogens ...upgrade the bulbs..piaa,silver star ultra,etc...the xenon lights have a very abrupt cut off on the light pattern. Very difficult to see beyond the light pattern on low beam...also VERY expensive to fix and install

have you ever ended up trying the projector assembly in 05 model? i have an 05 and want to do the exact thing, and as far as all the manuals i can find both headlights seem to be virtualy identical including mounting points.

waiting for parts source to get me a tyc branded half price of dealer, hope they fit

Sorry Aldermike, gave up on the project. To costly. I just swaped for bulds that give off the HID effect, and it make quite the difference.

Are the projector lights worth it? I have halogen lights on my 07 Pac, and they are horrible. I have an 03 Concorde Limited with projector lights and it is fantastic.

aldermike, I revived my interest in swapping the Halogen lights for the HID. I've been reading that the wiring harness from the stock halogen lights is not strong enough to support the HID unit. Have you had any problems with yours since installing? Are yours the OEM units or you bought a HID conversion kit??????

Sadly I now have got rid if the pacifica,

Driving a 2013 300s with hami

But I had headlights that where projector with helogen, as far as I know that type was only on the 04 PAC, then 05, and later 04 switched to reflactor, hid kit was aftermarket h7 bulbs and I was using a relay harness which solves the problem you read about.

Also still have a brand new driver side headlight with projectors in the box if any one is in GTA area and needs one, also still have my old factory ones, not in the best of shape.
