Default Headphones, rear audio system...dvd..

I own a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica Touring Edition. We bought it used, and the headphones were not with it. We've been having some issues with the system intermittently muting and a headphones icon coming up. Is our only option to buy some new headphones for it?

Also, apparently the DVD player is prone to skipping - is this something that can be fixed with some sort of "head cleaning" dvd or something, or should we look into replacing the player?

Thanks!

They used to make a "cleaner" CD that had little brushes glued to it. Or you could take the player apart and make sure the lens is clean.

As far as the headphones go you'd have to find some that pick up the same frequency. I've seen headphones and remotes as a package on eBay for $80-90.
