High Idle Speed issue (Pacifica 2005 3.5L)

Hi to all! I urgently need your help. I replaced the spark plugs on my Chrysler Pacifica 2005 3.5 L. After that, I tried to start the car. It started up but with very high idle speed. After a couple of seconds, the car turned itself off. Every time I start the car, this problem repeats. All hoses checked and bolts spun. Any idea? Maybe I damaged the sensors?

Thanks a lot in advance

Alex

There is a Mass Airflow Sensor mounted on the black rubber air intake tube. It can be easily damaged (or left out) when doing the plugs on a 3.5. Can you verify MAF sensor is in place and functional?

I am not sure..
but I figured out that U have a bad vacuum leak where egr tube goes into upper intake... missing gasket.

Yes, the missing EGR gasket could do it. Either that or the MAF sensor leaking vacuum, causing the engine to rev up...

thank you. I will try to fix it with the gasket first. Did you mean MAP sensor?

Not sure at this point. May try a good scan tool to see it it is throwing any codes...
