I just got factory cross bars installed at the dealer on a 2007 Pacifica and they are nearly impossible to slide forward/backwards. I have released the latches, and even removed the whole assembly from the car and cannot find anything that would hang them up.

Any ideas? Is there some tip or trick of secret latch I am missing? I have the obviousl latch opened all the way...

once you open the latches you'll see black latches inside as well you have to push them in to unlock them then you can slide forward or bacwards.you have to keep them pushed in to slide it.do one at a time.and i used a small screw driver to push them in.hope this helps and good luck.
