Moving and want to tow Pacifica on a trailer
 

Hi all,
Very new to all this, but I'm hoping someone can help. We are relocating across country and wanted to drive a Uhaul (or budget truck, etc) and none of the companies say that they will rent a trailer because their equipment "doesnt match with a Pacifica"
We have a 2007, and I'm just looking for a reason that it can go up on a car transport to be pulled by the uhaul. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Do I avoid doing it, or do I chance it and tell them I'm towing something else.

I wouldnt.....

Is this an AWD???...There is no way to disable the rear driveline on a pacifica.

The only choice you really have is a Flat Tow, or "Tow dollies" for the rear wheels...

You dont want to do this..... If ANYTHING were to go wrong, You would be 100 million percent LIABLE.

My dealership's rental department handles U-HAUL trucks and trailers , just as you describe......And the last person who falsified Documentation like this, was Not only liable for the damage she Caused when the vehicle being towed jarred up the driveshaft and spit it out across the highway (Severely injuring 2 other drivers)...But the leasing company sued her and had her arrested for falsifying documents.

It isnt worth the risk......

Just taking a glance at Pacifica specs on Edmunds, I think the problem is vehicle width. The UHaul auto transport shows a max width of 79.25" and that only certain trailers can go that wide. I realize it isn't much but, the Edmund's specs put our cars at 79.3". But, as Djinn pointed out, limits are limits and all would be well until there is any kind of issue.
