Nav sys error reading disk display
I have a 2004 Chrylser Pacifica and am having troube with the Nav. system. After using my nav. sys. for a long (seven hours) trip last summer my nav. system quit working after I made it to my destination. The display reads "error reading disk" and won't work. The disk looks great. Can the disk be damaged and still look great? Is there something else I should try? I have a new Nav. disk on the way, but i am not sure that will solve my problem. Thanks, Aleasha

I'm having the same issue. Did you new cd work? And if so can you provide a link to the CD?

This may help : https://300mclub.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30008
There is also a way to disassemble and clean the laser : https://www.jeepforum.com/threads/rb...crazy.1129907/ |
A good reliable CD Disk Cleaner will do the trick. I use google or Sygic on my phone instead of the vehicle's nav system. The disks are outdated and the dash screen resolution and brightness are poor.
