No heat

I have no heat in a 2007 pacifica. Worked good in the morning during a large blizzard. Went to go into town
in the afternoon and the blower motor is not working.

Blower motor relay or just the motor went out??? How would I check??

You are most likely still under warranty. Bring it to the dealer and have them fix it.

You can bring it to an Autozone or similar and have them check for a code. Otherwise, I know that there are qualified members on this site and I'm sure they can steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

I checked the relay (#42) and the fuse (#16) the day it happened. The back heater just blows cold air also. The cars engine heats up just fine.

Where is the resistor?? On the blower motor itself??

Thanks for the reply

i think u are confused about something having only hot or cold air coming out of the vents has nothing to do with the blower motor resistor or blower motor for that fact.

What is not working no hot or cold air or no air coming out of the vents?

RE: No heat

The front blower motor the heats the driver and passenger does not blow any air at all. There is another heater in front of the back passengers you can turn up also that only blows cold air. I'm thinkin that the back one may be fed by the front. So if the front is not circulating any (hot)air the only air left to move around is cold air.

Oh Ya, I'm working outside and it's neg 10 below zero....hence the cold air.

Is there a way to check the resistor to see if it is bad once it is pulled out.
