Hi,

I think you would probably be better off considering an after market solution. I looked on one site and it was quoting $900 for the OEM video IF you already had the 6 disc cd/dvd changer in the dash, and I'm assuming you do not. Here are a few ideas on Crutchfield that you might consider. I think they would go in cleaner and would likely be better/larger than OEM. We have used our OEM system a fair amount and like it, but my younger Son still prefers to use a "travel" DVD screen that attaches to the front seat headrest as the position he must be in to view the upper screen can be uncomfortable - mostly if gaming. If just watching a movie, he reclines the seat a bit and is fine.

Good luck with it.

installing the OEM kit is going to be a pain as you have to rip out all the ceiling for the brace, etc... it's 1600$ installed

I did a custom install of monitor headrests. see here

The only problem is that they were submitted to extreme cold this winter (-25°C) for over 24 hours, and both monitors are now dead/unusable (resistences blown on the controller PCB)

I later found out that even the 900$ ones are only rated to -15°C.

I may buy new ones to replace these, as they are around 200$ a set, and temporarily remove them from January to March.
