I have a 04 pac, just recently my oil light come on the dash .I thought I was low on oil , I checked it but had plenty. The light did go off on its own but continues to come on and it continues on and off.

ok thanks alot C-Tech.....I haven't had a chance to look at the switch cause of the cold and snow out ,looks like something I made need to bring to a mechanic......wondering is this something that can do major damage to my pac if I don't replace soon?

well I jacked up the pac and looked for the oil pressure switch and couldn't find it .I have heard and read that its near oil filter on passenger side but I couldn't see it.

Do I have to remove the oil filter or anything else to replace the switch ? I have the oil switch socket for the job .

I found oil switch but its not as easy as some of you guys say it is .Looks like some other components have to be removed to get to it.

I have the same problem. I just put everything back together because the clip is impossible to get off. Need babys hand and theyre not smart enough to do the work. So I will be breaking the connector off to remove the pressure switch.
I had to remove the compressor bolts (not bracket) and the pulley in front of the switch to even attemp to get my hand in there. Still no luck, so if you don't have a new clip I wouldnt bother. Look at the electrical motor for the radiator that is what the clip looks like, pretty sure anyway. There is no way your going to be able to pull the red tab to get the clip off.
So my question is what is the part number for the clip so I can cut the wire and install new clip?
