Default Pacifica Engine Light

I have a 2007 Chry. Pacifica with 56,000 miles. The check engine light comes on. If I disconnect the battery for 10 min and then reconnect it goes out for awhile. Any one have idea on what could be causing this? The car runs fine. I really need help with this I am on a fixed income and not much money to go to a tech. Thanks

You can take it to an autozone or pepboys, what ever big chain is in your area and they can read the code for you.

Unless you have a friend that has a code reader, they they can help you.

You can also get the code(s) from your instrument cluster. Without STARTING the car, turn the key to run-acc-run-acc-run...then watch the odometer in the lower right corner of the cluster. It will display codes (a letter with 4 numbers) Write those down, then post them here so we can help steer you in the right direction!

I also have 2007 Pacifica, but "key dance" does not work. To get codes you need scanner.
