Please help diagnose starting issue
 

Good morning,

I apologize as this is long, I thought it would be helpful to give all the info that I've tried thus far to remedy the problem.
I've been trying to figure out why my Pacifica will no longer start. I had at one time issues starting it and used the jumper cable trick from the negative to a bolt to start it and that worked. I cleaned up battery connections and haven't had the issue since.
Now the other night I was sitting at a stop light, the voltage indicator went off, fan/lights dimmed a bit then came back but the car stayed running. Got home and shut it off and tried to start it back up and nothing, no click at all. Tried the jumper cable trick to no avail.
I put a charger on the battery and tried it last night and nothing still. Battery tests to 12.6 volts. Tried starting in neutral and nothing. Tried jumping the starter relay in the fuse box (wire from constant power across) and nothing.
When I try to start it, all the boxes are around all of the P..R..N..D which I thought would only be around the P.
Also when I had gotten home to get the groceries out of the rear hatch, it wouldn't open from the outside/or the button up on the ceiling and it would give an error that the car wasn't in Park although it was and the car was off.
Is this possibly a TRS issue? I think I may have smelled something get warm or that electronic smell when this all occured at the stoplight, but that could be just in my head as well.
I was going to try to run a new 4 ga wire from negative to the starter to see if that was the issue but don't have an idea where the starter is. Any thoughts anyone may have for me to try?

I just pulled codes using the key turn 3 times trick and got P 0522 which is Engine Oil Pressure Sensor/Switch Circuit Low Voltage. Will this cause the car not to start?

I pulled the battery and tray and looked for any damage wires and didn't see much. Couldn't locate the ground that is supposed to go to the tranny behind the front driver wheel and couldn't really see from underneath the starter or the cables to it.

remove the starter relay and jump the pins 30 and 87 see if the starter moves then

Tried that and nothing.

check for power at pin 30

There was power to 30

then u have a connection issue at the starter or the starter itself is bad

Thanks for the replies. I can't get to the starter so I'm towing it in tonight to my local guy. I'll post back the diagnosis.
