Power Lift Gate issue.
 

My power lift gate will open but not shut. I have to manually close it. This happens when using the key fob and the button in the cabin of the car. My lights flash when I push the close button but nothing happens. Are there two seperate motors used to open and close the hatch? It just seems odd. Anyone else run into this issue?
