Default Rapid battery usage after sensor replacement

Hello,
my 2018 PHEV had a code for the humidity sensor P1009 code. So, we replaced it. The very day I drove it home I notice that my battery was draining, being used very fast. Got home charged it full and when I left the next day same thing. I could see the battery % lower by 1 about every mile or 2. This was not the normal before replacing this sensor. Its dramatic. What does the humidity sensor have to do with using or cause rapid battery drain? This is very concerning for me. We have had the van for about a year, love it and never had any issues at all with this van. Any thoughts? Thx
