Spare wheel/tire size
 

I recently purchased a used 2019 Pacifica, which has only the fix-a-flat and compressor. I want to purchase as cheap a spare wheel and tire as I can for trips out of town. However, I am reluctant to just purchase the cheapest 20" wheel I can find because I am afraid that, because of the wheel offset, it would hit the brake caliper. I can see the disc brake assembly right next to the rim on the wheels that are on this car. Can anyone give me any wheel info? Will any 20" wheel work as long as the bolt pattern fits? And for 245/50R20 tires, what should be the width of the rim? I found in a Google search that 7"-8.5" is the width I need. Thanks in advance.

There are several tire sales sites on the web that sell wheels also and you can look up your wheel/tire requirement by the make, model and year of your car. Is there a place to store the spare nowadays?

No, there itn't. I am just going to build a tire rack out of wood to keep the tire upright so as not to take up as much floor space. Or I can put it behind the back row of seats when they are up. BTW, I learned that the 20 inch wheel on the Pacifica has an odd bolt pattern (127mm), and thus finding one that fits from a junk yard is hard. Apparently that size only fits on a Pacifica and Chrysler 300. And moreover,, the 20 inch wheel is an upgrade option,, not stock. So when you call a junk yard, or business that sells new wheels,, and you tell them the year, make,, and model, it comes up on their computer as having 18 inch wheels. Forget trying to purchase a cheap steel wheel made for another vehicle. There are a few businesses online that refurbish (from salvage Pacifica or 300s) that specific wheel that are considerably cheaper than buying a new one.
