stop the shake

New to the site, just got a 2007 Pacifica, about 6 months ago and love it. I had a problem with the starter clicking some time and then start right up. After looking around on the big wide web., I Found that it was not getting a good ground to the motor, so I ran a 4 ga. Wire from neg. battier. Post to a bolt on the transmission and have not had a problem with that. Know the next problem is when I hit the brakes it shakes like when you have warped rotors. I changed the rotors and brake pads on the front but that did not fix it, I have no ABS lights on , at low speeds not much of a thing, but running on the interstate and having to get on the brakes it shakes a lot. Does anyone have a suggestion what I might be up against? Thanks in advance

Check the ball joints up front including the tie rod ends.

Check the engine support and for any loose nuts and bolts that holds the engine.

+1. sounds like either tie rod ends or control arms to me. also grab yourself a repair manual and make sure all front suspension bolts are torqued to spec. a loose one can definitely cause that same shimmy.
