Default Sway bar clunking problem

I have a clunking noise going over bumps and I was told that the sway bar end links are loose. Is that something you can tighten or do you just need to replace them?

Can they show you the movement in the link that is making the noise? I chased a noise on our Pac for over a year, it was $16 sway bar bushings. Car is quiet as can be now.

I have changed out the swaybar linkages a couple of times on mine. It's pretty easy and their inexpensive. I now need lower control arms. The dealership wants $453 each. I found them on Ebay for $204 for a pair out of Canada where this vehicle is assembled.

Try to get your car on a lift, or supported off of the suspension and take a closer look at where there is excessive play. That'll narrow your search.

good luck!
