wiper issues
im currently working on a 2004 pacifica. the problem im having is when i turn the wipers on the headlights begin flashing, the tach signal disappears, the dash basically shuts off and comes back on. the radio goes off. the wiper motor is good. ive replaced the alternator due to a bad pulley. replaced the negative battery cable due to breakage at the transmission. checked and rechecked all negatives dont know where to go now. any help would be greatly appreciated. hate the thought of taking it to the local chrysler dealer. really dont have the money to spend on a dealer repair.

I'm having the same issue it sounds like. You turn on the wipers and they don't move. The heater/ac, radio, headlights go on and off. On mine the airbag, ABS and one other light comes on on the dash. Does your back wiper work okay? Mine does. We've changed the fuse box, the wiper motor and the switch on the steering column. We are getting so frustrated with this as I'm sure you are! We can't take it to the dealer. And we still have over a year to pay on this car. If we figure it out, we'll let you know. If you figure it out, let us know, please!

there are 3 ground posts below the battery. i ended up putting new connectors on them. fixed my problem. be careful with your lights if they are the HID ones. they are expensive to replace. i found mine on amazon

Gentlemen I know exactly what your problems are. The reason everything is dead is because your accessory relay is not being energized, thereby never getting you power to fuses 24, 25, and 26. Reason is because a bad ground, I believe G-103. If you backprobe the black/yellow wire coming out of the bottom of the IPM C-5 connector #14 and it is not grounded, that will verify your problem. If you can't find where your G-103 is bad splice into it and ground it. Should be problem solved.
