05 cruiser - couple issues
 

Ive had my 05 pt cruiser for about a year now and ive fixed it up quite a bit but theres still a few problems id like to fix for quality of life sake.

first issue im having is the ac only blows out of the front vents. the dial where you select where it comes out of (like defrosting/ feet vents / etc) seems to be fixated on the left side. basically if i turn the dial to the right where the defrost selection is, it stays there for a second but flips back towards the left side.

second issue is the car starts stuttering while im idle with the ac on. the cold air will weaken quite rapidly. this stops immediately after turning the ac off. i believe it has something to do with the cooling fan but generally im terrible with cars.

any insight is appreciated, thanks

some repairs ive paid to be done include new tires, new battery, and a new motor mount on front-bottom passenger side.

The vents like that are cable driven so anything from bent broken cable door issue or something stopping a door from moving. Take the dash part out and take a look

for the ac turn the ac on the fan should come on within a few seconds if not yes a fan isse
