05 PT Turbo convertable grinding from turbo area
Have an 05 PT vert with 111,000 miles. Starts and runs, transmission shifts smooth but after 100 feet, a grinding noise happens and seems to be coming from the turbo. It is also smoking (white smoke) a bit when started and engine sounds like it is loping. I suspect a turbo but wanted to come here and get opinions before I tear into it. Also, can these be rebuilt? TIA
