Default 2001 5 spd...no crank...no start

2001 5 spd PT.
ISSUE: DEAD. No start..no crank.
1 mo ago died on me in the middle of the road (1st time). Pushed it off to the side and after 5 min it fired right up.
2 weeks later..same thing..couldn't get it to fire.
Monkied with it. Starter leads were loose. I was able to make the starter crank just by reaching my hand down behind the radiator.
Tightened up starter leads...no go..no crank.
Changed starter...no go..no crank.
This time I'm thinking ignition switch.
Changed out ignition switch. No go..no crank.
Changed out ignition switch actuator. No go..no crank.
Key cylinder. No go..no crank.
Starting to think maybe a break in an ignition wire/cable (haven't checked w checker yet).
I've changed the ignition relay and fuses.
Something weird. When I hook up the battery I don't hear the fuel pump activate but, would the car at least crank over?
A few minutes ago I seperated the plastic timing cover and the timing belt is fine and on the teeth of the gears.
Car has over 250g on the odometer.
I've had it for over 3 yrs. Bought it wrecked/put back together and it has been a runner ever since.
Any ideas? Tnx Tim
note...on FB a couple of suggestions. Clutch pedal sensor and also crank soleniod. Haven't checked these items yet. Just dead in the water. Lights on dash...nothing at the key. New battery/not it. In the back of my mind I'm thinking wires/harness.
love to hear back from everyone. Strong running car. Just kicking my butt right now.
Oh yeah...this is a very early 2001 so no special security stuff, that happened in the later 01.

thanks you C T. I haven't rengaged my car yet because I've been studying every option. I watched a Y T video on what you asked and will try it. If it does start then it would be because of with a bad relay (which I've swapped out for a new one already) or it's the whole darn fuse/relay box. I do understand that it might be something to do with the wires on the back side as well.
I also am thinking 2 other things. The clutch sensor or the crank shaft sensor. It is a manual shift so her is another thinking noticed. On the transmission where the cable goes from the shifter.....the plastic grommet/insert is broken/worn out. It had play in it of about a quarter inch. Previously whom ever had car put a couple of zip ties on that area to keep it from lifting up off the ball. I had my wife sit in the car and I manipulated the connection but, still had no crank and start. I've changed the starter out with another serviceable one so it's not the starter. I hate trouble shooting electric systems. I don't understand it but, if I want to drive this car again I need to get educated.
Thanks again Sir. I think I'll tdy again tonite and post my finding. Any other ideas please float them my way.
V/r Tim

Sorry. I had a death in the family. Car isn't important right now. When I have time in the near future I'll check and I'll get back on here. Tnx for your help.
