Default Help radiator PT Cruiser 2003

Hello,

I'm trying to find a radiator for my PT Cruiser but i can find the correct one, my car is a 1.6L and the radiator has a cooler hose in the right side, like in the picture, it seems all radiators on stores are different than mine :/ anyone has the same problem?

Many thanks for any help
Kind regards
Guilherme

unfortunately ... foreign market from North America that such a site like rockauto would service. Not sure myself just why the radiator would be different than other market area(NA) vehicles with different motors.

Well the guys from the radiators shop gave me a solution, that is to rebuild the top of the radiator in aluminum equal to the one that I have, It sounded great and I think will solve the problem, I will post photos after .

Many thanks

Hey,
i had the same problem with my Pt Cruiser 1.6L, the only solution is to disassemble the top and bottom plastic covers (where the cooling water inlet and outlet is connected) of the radiator. Then you buy the next radiator DENSO DRM06005 (213,93$ in Belgium) and then you must mount the two plastic covers of your old radiator on the new radiator. This works perfectly, and the radiator fits perfectly without having to make any changes, i also had this done and have been driving for over 1 year without any problems.
I had the works carried out at a repairer of car radiators where the tests under pressure and loss were tested for air bubbles and this cost me onley 70 € (76,12$ in Belgium)
I hope I helped you with this!
Greetz from Belgium
