Tire / Rim Question

Tire / Rim Question
I just acquired a 04 Cruiser. I have been looking for some used rims and snow tires. I found a 5 lug set that came off a Toyota Corrolla. If the info I have is correct they both have 5 x 100 bolt pattern. The snows are 195/65 r15. They should fit right? Just dont want to miss anything and make a expensive mistake. Thanks

In addition to the lug pattern, you need to be aware of the width of the rim and the offset. Offset is the lateral difference between the back surface of the rim where it contacts the hub and the fore-and-aft centerline of the tire.
Clearance in the wheel well is pretty tight, so you need to be careful with what you put on there. Try browsing tire websites like tirerack.com for more information about how to get a proper fit.

Thanks, I literally just got the car a couple days ago. I dont even have it on the road yet. I was driving it around my yard last night and there is a pretty significant banging noise coming from the front end when you go over bumps. Ball joint? Maybe something else. Guy told me there was nothing wrong with it. Took a chance.

Thanks for the encouragement. I am in this situation due to my own stupidity. I guess I just put too much faith in people. I should have it on the road next week and then we will take her to the shop and see how bad it is.
