I'm thinking about installing some front struts on my '05 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I just paid about $100 in struts for my 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser through apx auto parts. Here's a link. Buy Sensen Front & Rear Shocks Struts for 2001-2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser, Warranty | 4214-1303, 4214-1303, 1213-0302, 1213-0302,235626, 343385, 71592, 5989 Here's the manufacturer's link. SENSEN Shock Absorbers and Struts |SENSEN North America They seem legit. What do you think? I only needed some front struts but it was more economical to buy the entire set.
I don't have any complaints yet. Outside of some routine maintenance, I'm not much of a diyer. I normally take the cruiser to the shop and that's the end of it. But this time I think I may just try it out. The folks at apx auto parts said they have videos on youtube to help people install the struts.
The installation should be simple enough I think.

You'll need a spring compressor. You can get one for under $30 at Harbor Freight or might be able to rent or borrow one at an auto parts store. Get a manual like a Haynes or similar and study up on it before you begin. There are other videos and youtube on the process. I've done it on a minivan and on my Sebrings. Once you know how to do it, it's easy. Spring compressors are potentially dangerous but if you take your time to plan it out in advance and use basic common sense, there's no problem.

Thanks for the tips dcotter0579. I do agree that the spring compression aspect of the job may just be the most dangerous part. So I'll have to proceed with caution. But I also think the installation seems pretty straightforward. You mentioned that you've installed some front strut assemblies before. Well here's a video on a comparable Year and Make.
Do you notice much of a difference between this one and my 2005 Cruiser? Something that I should keep an eye out for?
