Injector Problems

Hi, all I'm new the forums but have a serious problem. I just bought a 2003 GT Pt Cruiser. However, I have been having problems with it. When i first purchased the car it ran great for a day or two then all of the sudden it started to over heat and die when idling at a stop light. Ended up buying new coil, wires, plugs, thermostat, fan (which was 3 wire but plug on car is 4 wire) and the O2 sensors(upstream and down stream). That is when to problems started I found out it actually has a turbo engine from a 2005 GT PT with turbo. Well at least all sensor connections point to that. So got everything replaced but it still dies when idling. I got the codes 0201, 0202, 0203, 0204 for bad injectors. Just wondering if all four can go bad at once or if I'm should be looking elsewhere.:o:confused:

Injector Problems

Hello sir. Did you ever find out what the issue was with all 4 of your injectors faulting out? I just got an '03 PT Cruiser GT, and I'm having the same issues. P0201, P0202, P0203, and P0204. Not sure what could be having all 4 going out like that. Any help would be appreciated.

Step 1 !
Disassemble and Clean ALL Power and ground connections. Battery cables, jump post, body grounds, engine grounds, etc.
Not just a look and check, disconnect and clean.
Chances of all 4 injectors failing electricity at the same time is slim to none.

Battery over 5 years old? Get it tested.
Charging system OK?
Most auto parts can check battery and charging system right in the parking lot for free.

Poor connections or erratic voltages are likely suspects and virtually free to check out

Yes sir, battery just replaced and alternator is good. I'll check all connections on my next day off work.
