My new 2008 PT stalled! Only had it for 2 weeks!
 

Hi all--
Two weeks ago hubby and I bought a low mileage 2008 black PT, auto, and had a fab time bombing around in it. We added wide white walls with black rims and chrome rings to match our 1941 black Chevy.
Life was super-fine until the PT stalled.
The 41 Chev? no problem--it never stalls The PT '08? 2 weeks old? Yup, it stalled and would NOT start!
Our PT turned over and started for 15 seconds or so and then stalled--this happened a couple of times and then when I tried it again, nothing!
It has now been in the dealer's shop for 2 days--THEY can't figure it out!
Battery and all lights are good--got that nasty engine light icon though. The car simply had no power, no turn-over, nothing. Like it died...with white walls to boot.
WHY? The PT was parked, in the driveway overnight--Sooo glad it wasn't on the freeway or in a dark alley.
Love my PT...Why is this happening? Does anyone have any ideas or advice?

might be ignition of lack of fuel, does it atleast crank?

No Engine Crank Or No Engine Start Due To Electronic Lockup Of The WCM / SKREEM
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves the replacement of the Wireless Control Module (WCM), and if
equipped, the replacement of the Electric Steering Column Lock (ELV). The WCM is also
referred to as the Sentry Key Remote Entry Module (SKREEM).

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer will experience a no engine crank AND a no engine start condition. Also, the
remote keyless entry (RKE) system will not operate. This condition may be due to an
electrostatic discharge (ESD) from the ignition key into the Wireless Control Module
(WCM), causing the WCM to electronically lockup. This condition may occur more
frequently in dry and/or cold weather conditions where a sufficient electrostatic charge is

more easily produced. This condition is corrected by the replacement of the WCM.
