under the hood in teh fuse box by teh battery. Under the hood will be a diagram of the fuses and relays if not use you owners manual.

and for what ever reason you need to do what ever it is with the ASD relay i highly doubt that is your root cause for what ever your issue is.

thank you for repling my intent was to disable the fuel system for a compression check. there is no diagram on the fuze box it says to look at the manuel checked manuels online but cant find a matching fuze box in them getting conflicting info on the location of the fuel pump relay also.so i ran a jumper wire to the soleniod .witch i think will shut down the fuel pump. dont want to mess with electrical connectors on the injectors or fuel pump they do not come off easy enough.

yeah you have one of the newer ones that the lay out is in the manual. You dont have a fuel pump relay its built into the electronics of the fuse box. so only way I can suggest is when you remove the intake just disconnect the fuel injector wires for all of them that way they cant open and dump fuel in.

thanks ,i ran a wire from the positive batt terminal to the s terminal to bypass the ignition switch so i can crank it over myself outside the car ,if im thinking write that should have disabled the fuel system and went ahead with my test, looked at the owners manuels online there diagrams do not resemble my fuze box,but might be looking at the wrong info i beleve my relays may be located outside the box on the fire wall drivers side, dont feel like spending 30$ for the owners manuel, compression test confirms i have a blown head gasket.

CHRYSLER TECH 06-20-2016 10:34 PM

no sir you can not blow a 3 layer steel head gasket. You have bent valves is the more then likely cause.

didnt know it had one of those,i blew air thru it cyl 1 throws water out of the radiator cyl 2 has a lot of bubbles.car got hot because i had a hole in the radiator, maybe a cracked head.hardly any compression cyl 1 30 psi 2 35psi 3 70psi 4 90psi wet test 70 80 130 150 psi respectably, leak down percentages 80% 40% 35% 35%this is the first time i have done this,so i am going to blow air thru it agine and listen harder to locate the leaks ive got the valve cover off.also it was showing no oil on the dipstick but my light never came on and ive got no leaks car has 40,000 miles last change was at 32500 with synthetic probely let it go to long.

warped the head the over heat issue would have saved alot of posting and guessing if I had known this. The head is warped r and r it take to machine shop that will deck it and check for valve blow by as well. A warped head over 5000th of an inch will cause an over heat issue.

yes this is probely my case, i need some advice on the leak test i did if you dont mind, the enigine has been cold for all test because i cant start it, there is a slight amount of air coming out the exhaust pipe on all cylinders and i can hear the air in the pipe not to loud but dont know if thats normal so i opened a valve to see what it does normaly, the air blew out much stronger the pressure isnt even close, same thing with my intakes so what exactly am i listning for on a bad valve, does it sound like a normlay open valve, also on cyl 2 the air blows out the intake on cly 1 hard like its all the way open why doesnt cyl 2 s intake leak, just trying to learn something since i have to fix it,thank you .

CHRYSLER TECH 06-23-2016 11:55 PM

because it must have poped only that one cyl when the belt broke.
