'02 T&C Power Sliding Door needs Clutch Motor?

Hi everyone,

The passenger power sliding door on my '02 T&C LXi opens fine, but when I try to electronically close it I here a click and the motor doesn't turn on.

If I pull the handle at the same time as the click and "help" the door a bit, the motor kicks in and the door shuts fine.

The dealer told me that I need a new clutch motor. Is there only 1 motor in the door?

Or does anyone know what the "clutch motor" is?

Here's a picture of a door from a 2001 caravan. Can someone identify the "clutch motor" on here for me?

Thanks,
beatle78

i could not see the whole pic but it looks like the dcx pic so i will tell ya its number 15 and you may need 16 as welll the cable we install them alot in pairs as i think dcx revamped it and you may need both of them.
Usually that is the problem the motor kinda fails for some reason or another.
