05 T&C passenger high beam and drl inop

I changed the bulb and followed the wires as far as I could, but I didn't see any issues there. I'm miserable at electronics, and I don't know where to go from here. Any suggestions?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Find the Front Control Module bolted to the front of the IPM (fuse box) under the hood. Remove the 4 bolts securing the FCM to the IPM and remove the FCM. On the back side of the FCM you'll see a rows of what's termed "spade contacts" meaning flat and wide as opposed to the other "pin like" contacts. Contacts 3, 4, 5, and 6 are for the headlights. Contact #4 is for the passenger high beam. Use a pair of needle nose pliers or similar and ever so slightly bend the contact. If you see corrosion clean with electrical contact cleaner. Single headlight problems are common on these vans and "tweaking" these contacts often fixes them.

Leary of bending contacts? Just removing and reinstalling (reseating) the FCM to the IPM a few times may bring your high beam back to life. Reconnect the battery only after reinstalling the FCM.

If you still have problems you may need a new FCM or could be a problem in the IPM or wiring from the IPM to the headlight. The IPM is a known corrosion magnet.

DRLs? Can't help there. My wiring diagrams don't show them. I can only guess and say they also go through the FCM/IPM. You may fix both with just reseating the FCM.

I pulled the FCM, cleaned all the connections, tweaked the contacts, and put it back together, with no luck. Is there a way to meter the leads to be sure that its the FCM, or to see if its the harness or fuse box instead?

Looks like you can check power and continuity. Send me a private message with an email address included and I'll send you the diagrams.

Maybe I'm just a dum dum, but I couldn't figure out how to send a pm. My address is nov_284@hotmail.com. Thanks for the help.
