1998 Town & Country won't Start

Default 1998 Town & Country won't Start

Please help!!! i have a 98 town & country that will start and then willcut off instantly after apx 3 times of starting and cutting off the van will not start at all. after sitting for 1/2 day it will start and run fine. it doesn't do this all of time but it is starting to happen more often

Been there, done that. We have a 1998 T&C too. Pound hard on the dash until the odometer lights come on and the gauges start to work. This worked for us for a year or so, until yesterday as a matter of fact. Apparently there's some loose connections or something in the dash and pounding on it helps get things reconnected. Just be aware that eventually it won't work anymore.

BTW, if your key won't turn in the ignition, just tap on it three times with your knuckle and it will turn.
