2.5 CRD cutting out on idle the story cont

Still no further on with this issue. So far these components have tried.

Mass air flow sensor
Crank sensor
EGR valve (cleaned)
Inner fuel tank filter
Outer fuel tank filter ( the one with all the housing and pipes)
Tomorrow and EGR valve will be tried.

If this doesn't work then god knows!!!

Hi , tried that came up with a code for Mass airflow sensor, which has been changed

is the fault code still present?

If so, you need to be aware that if it is reporting an unexpected value from the MAF then it may not be the MAF.

The ECU knows how much air should be coming through the MAF given the level of boost, engine revs and load etc. An air leak in the intake system can cause the MAF to give a reading the ECU doesn't like, in addition the wiring and connectors need to be checked

Crank sensor goes with cam sensor. Then theirs fuel rail valve. But Mass sensor comes up. Tfb says it all.
