2.5 crd glow plugs

Hi all
My first diesel car - 2001 Grand Voyager 2.5crd
Thought I might be ok with maintenance since I have always done basic maintenance on all my previous petrol cars.
So since I have a problem starting the new diesel car in cold weather I thought I would test the glow plugs for resistance, power supply etc.
Then I hit my first problem - Where are the glow plugs?
Sounds daft and I felt a bit silly - I can find injectors etc but I cannot find the glow plugs! Are they hidden or am I missing the obvious? I have found the associated relay but getting dark outside now so will be testing that on my next day off.
Please be patient if I dont reply to your comments but I seem to spend my life at work these days.

Remove the engine cover and they're in front of you. Each with an individual wire (unlike my old vauxhalls that had a strap between them all).

You'll see them fine in daylight.

Is your engine the 2.5 crd 16v VM?
If so you can find the glow plugs under the intake mainfold. They are not very easy to change...

You might need to remove the intake elbow to gain access. If the wiring of the 2.5 is the same as the 2.8 then there is a square 4 pin plug on top of the triangular plate above the alternator which is where the glow plug wiring connects to the loom and is a nice easy place to test from.

You should read about 0.4 - 0.6 ohms per plug

Regards

Thanks guys. Found the glow plugs under the intake manifold. I see what you mean when you said awkward to get to! I will need to wait till Sunday now until I get a day off to get to work on them. Till then I just hope the weather doesn't get colder as it is a pig to start in the morning.
Once that is sorted then I got electric window to sort, hand brake doesn't hold very well, one door doesn't lock. Oh also what appears to be a common problem, the thermostat! What an awkward place that is!
Well I did get the car cheap! Cosmetically it is in very good condition just the problems as listed and then I should have an a1 car.
