Default 2.8 CRD Fuel Rail Valve??

I see that on right side of the fuel rail is attached a return hose, like on the top of injectors.
I tried to disconnect that hose while idling and many diesel exit from the fuel rail: is it normal?
I think that this valve should be the for security and only open in case of excessive pressure: is it right or not?
I'd like to know this because i have a P1130 code with engine cutting out in acceleration: if that valve should be closed i found the problem!

Hello,

Did that fuel rail pressure relief valve change helped you?
