2.8CRD misfire or something else

Hi, Thanks to MERLIN's advice the fuel filter heater was identified as being damaged/faulty and has been fixed/replaced under warranty. However, to me there still seems to be something that occurs similar to a misfire, but i am not convinced it is.
Has anyone got any thoughts? whilst not a Chrysler garage, they have agreed to fund it going onto a Chrysler dealer (subject to a fault being found) for a diagnostics check.
One of the mechanics has stated it may be just a 'characteristic' of the car, but my gut feel is that he is wrong.
I would describe it as a misfire or some form of hesitancy when running...
Cheers
Dave

nothing comes to mind on an 06 without hearing it, I know the 07 there is a software update for this. Is may 06 the reg date or build date/ model year?

Misfire or something else

Hi Merlin, sorry for the delay in replying.
The Voyager is a March 06 build.
The slight judder/misfire is not there all the time, it comes and goes, hence the confusion,
It has 28,000 miles on the clock, one previous owner and a Chrysler service history, I live 35 ish miles from the nearest service center (Exeter) and was wondering if a full diagnostic check may be the way to go...Cheers I appreciate your time and help...Dave

lol Exeter is my dealership (well till the end of next week) Then I move to slough to work for Jeep technical. If you have the time pop up tomorrow as I am working I will plug in and just see if I can pick anything up. I will do it F.O.C

How ironic, my wife and I are on our way to Exeter should be there around 12.30..

Merlin, Firstly a big thank you for your help and interest in helping to solve my 'judder' it was a pleasure to meet you and yet a great shame you are leaving the west country!
The car is definitely smoother and to be honest I cannot detect the 1 - 2 gear change issue.
With regards to the judder, it is certainly improved, but it still there although considerably smoother, the car has a long run to do over the next few days so this will give her time to settle down.
The recall work will be done when the components are in stock.
Once again I really appreciated your help, and I shall keep you informed of progress with the car.....Cheers....Dave
