With KEY ON,not turning, getting 4.98 volts
With KEY STARTING, engine turning, 4.99-5 volts,NO LOW VOLTAGE.

measurements from gray/red wire to battery ground.
want to know if that is correct.......

 

If you are getting a P0344 Error code - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Intermittent - be sure to first check your battery voltages. (Apologies if this is deemed a daft suggestion, some have been caught out by this?)

Alternately, regarding the Camshaft Position Sensor the manual states:
P1391-INTERMITTENT LOSS OF CMP OR CKP

Visually inspect the related wiring harness. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or partially broken wires.

Visually inspect the related wiring harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed out, or corroded terminals.

Ensure the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Camshaft Position Sensor are properly installed and the mounting bolt(s) tight.

I am getting code P0301. Replaced plugs, ign coil and fuel pump. Won't start

 

Hi, I think code P0301 is a cylinder 1 misfire. To be sure, check cylinder compression and fuel pressure, typical cylinder compression readings, I believe, should be between 125psi and 160psi.

A colleague advised that you might also check the idle air control valve and the air intake tube from the air filter to the throttle?

 

Checked 2,4 and 6 cylinders compression.2(80psi),4(75psi) and 6(80psi). Could it start with those pressures?
Compression should be 170 to 225 according to the book.
Will I have to replace the rings only?

 

COMPRESSION DID NOT CHANGE (70psi) AFTER SQUIRTING OIL INTO CYLINDER, DOES THAT INDICATE BAD VALVE SEATS?

Hi sorry to but it on the post but having real grief getting my car to start. Its a chrysler voyager 1999 2.5td, when i take the crankshaft plug off and switch ignition on the voltage is only 0.1volts???? There is only 2 wires going to the sensor and i assume one should send a supply current, any help would be greatly appreciated

the wiring diagram tells the operating voltage of the sensor. In my town and country is 5 volts
