2000 T&C Pulsating Brake Pedal
Hi,
I need help! I'm going crazy. My brake pedal is pulsating when applied. I have recently replaced the rotors (they've been turned and are true), I've replaced calipers pins and guides and new pads. I have checked the rotors for runout on the hubs and only have .002 runout (within spec). I have also replaced the rear brakes. Cut the drums and new shoes were installed. I still have a pulsating pedal. What could be wrong? Please help. Thanks, Fred |

nothing if u did all the stuff u said u did then xomething else is a miss or was done wrong. Who did the work ne way? calapers wont be pulsing so that was a wast of money. Slide pins same thing. Are u doing this at high way speed then applying th breaks or low speed applying them? When hot worse?
What rotors did u get aftermarket or factory ones? |
RE: 2000 T&C Pulsating Brake Pedal
Thanks for your help. I figured out my problem last night. I have two T&C's 1996 and a 2000. The Brakes on the '96 do not pulsate. The only thing I have not checked are the rear drums for runout. I should not have to I thought because I had them turnned. So I deceided to take the drums off of my "96 and try them out on the 2000. Guess what I found out?? The brakes do not pulsate with the '96 drums. I dont understand how the machine shop guy messed them up. But he did. Thanks again, Fred D. |
